Omar Abdullah Says He Won’t Raise J&K’s Internal Issues With US Ambassador Sergio Gor Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that he would discuss the situation in the Union Territory with visiting US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, but would not raise its internal political issues with him. Gor arrived in Srinagar on August 19 for his first official visit to Jammu and Kashmir. The visit is significant as it is the first by a US Ambassador to the region since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. Abdullah: J&K’s Issues Must Be Resolved in India Speaking ahead of his meeting with Gor, Omar Abdullah said that problems concerning Jammu and Kashmir should be addressed by the Government of India rather than Washington.
